Kathryn and Richards Story - Trying to Conceive after Miscarriage
by littlebud.com
Trying to conceive can be a rollercoaster of emotions, especially after experiencing a miscarriage. In my personal story, my husband and I faced the challenge of trying to conceive after a miscarriage. However, with patience and determination, we were able to conceive and welcome our beautiful Primrose into the world.
Me and my husband had a great time trying to get pregnant. It only 2 months of trying to get a positive test. We were over the moon and those few months where magical.
At 17 weeks we experienced a miscarriage, we were heartbroken. We were afraid to try again, but we knew that we wanted to start a family. We decided to take some time to grieve and heal before trying to conceive again.
When we felt ready, we started trying again. It was an emotional journey, but we were determined to make it happen. We made some lifestyle changes, I changed jobs which gave me the option to work from home. We stared eating a healthier diet and both quit drinking wine most evenings.
After several months of trying, we finally received the news we had been hoping for - we were pregnant! We were overjoyed but also cautious, knowing the risk of miscarriage. However, we stayed positive and took good care of ourselves during the pregnancy.
Nine months later, we welcomed Primrose into the world. She was healthy and happy, and we were grateful for our successful journey.
Looking back on our journey, I realise that it wasn’t an easy road, but it was worth it. If you’re trying to conceive after a miscarriage, don’t give up hope. Take some time to heal, make some lifestyle changes, seek medical advice if necessary, and stay positive.
