Being physically fit puts your body in the best possible shape for conception. It lowers stress, blood pressure, can reduce the risk of ovulation disorders in women and build up testosterone in men.
For women, moderate, low-intensity exercise is the goal: five 30-minute sessions a week.
However, if you’re continually smashing PBs or topping the
CrossFit leader board and having trouble conceiving, ease off. Extreme exercising can lower fertility by disrupting your hormonal balance, your ovulation cycle, and letting your body fat fall too low.
